EQ22: Young Show Person Handling Class

Detail of animal and Handler's name must be given on entry form.

SEPARATE RING FOR EACH SECTION

  • Please have your passports available on Show Day.
  • All Competitors MUST be suitably dressed.
  • Horses can only compete in Classes in which they have been entered - NO changes on Show Day.
  • All exhibitors leading, riding or showing equines in competition must be 16 years of age or over on 1 January 2026, unless otherwise stated in the class detail.
  • It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that they arrive on time/enter in the correct class/classes and to ensure that they fulfil eligibility requirements to enter said class.

Colts/Stallions Debarred From Entry
Judging commences 11.30am sharp in Class Order

  • All Exhibitors MUST display numbers in the ring
  • First Prizewinners debarred from further competition excl. qualifiers
  • Please have your passports available on Show Day 

If insufficient entries are received, the gelding/filly classes will be amalgamated. There will be a special prize of €50 for the "best filly" if unplaced.

Open to persons over 16 years and under 25 years on January 1st, 2026
This class is judged on the handler's ability to present and show their horse. Attire and turnout will be taken into account.

No entries permitted on day of event.
