EQ33A: The Bantry Show KWD ID Foal, Munster Championship Qualifier

SEPARATE RING FOR EACH SECTION

  • Please have your passports available on Show Day.
  • All Competitors MUST be suitably dressed.
  • Horses can only compete in Classes in which they have been entered - NO changes on Show Day.
  • All exhibitors leading, riding or showing equines in competition must be 16 years of age or over on 1 January 2026, unless otherwise stated in the class detail.
  • It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that they arrive on time/enter in the correct class/classes and to ensure that they fulfil eligibility requirements to enter said class.

RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. The aim of this championship is to encourage the breeding of Irish Draught Foals.
  2. The Championship is open to all foals eligible for ID Class 1 status.
  3. Two Foals to be selected at each qualifier at the discretion of the judges.
  4. The Dams passport must be produced for inspection at the qualifying rounds and at the final.
  5. The foals passport must be produced at the final.
  6. One of the judges at the qualifying shows to be from the Irish Draught Horse Judges list if possible.
  7. There will be separate classes for colt foals and filly foals at the final.
  8. The overall Champion will be selected from the winners of each class.
  9. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.

These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A Rules.
